OUR CULINARY JOURNEY

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Scotty began honing his skills in the kitchen at the tender age of 10. However, it wasn't until he graduated from law school and began throwing dinner parties that he really began to focus on his passion. After years of doing online cooking tutorials and pop-up cooking events with the help of his friend Rambo Elliot, Scotty published his first cookbook Fix Me A Plate, named one of NPR's Top 10 Cookbooks of 2022. 

Abe Fromage (or Always Be Eating Fromage) is a one-of-a-kind culinary establishment with a menu inspired by the idea of simple and honest cooking. Chef Scotty Scott has developed a unique dining experience using creative ingredient combinations—taking you on a culinary journey from elevated grilled cheese to belly filling soul food and back.
